Bien occupés au domaine : après les travaux d’hiver, on replante !

We replanted the Nuits-Saint-Georges plot uprooted in 2017 and filled the gaps in the Bourgogne Chardonnay and Bourgogne Aligoté.

Last year we decided to plant some trees along the edges of the vines, to bring biodiversity and break up the monoculture landscape. Today, the “Reine des Reinettes” apple trees are in bloom!

De la phytothérapie pour minimiser l’impact du gel

In 2016, we lost the white wine harvest to frost. Since then we have been very concerned every spring and try to protect the vines as much as possible. For two years we put candles along the rows, and we now try herbal remedies when the frost alert is low.

With a mixture of thyme, oregano and savory, we have helped our fresh buds cope with the low temperatures at the start of this month. So far, there is no damage!
